The Lizard Of Oz

Spoofing the Wizard of Oz, Allynn Gooen and Annie Hickman lead their audiences in this journey to find the great and powerful Lizard of Oz. Allynn dresses audiences volunteers in balloon costumes to play the "traditional characters" as Annie portarys the singing and dancing set pieces.

Goowin's Balloowins

25 years ago Allynn Gooen arrived to perform a puppet show but forgot his puppets. Rather than canceling the show, when the theatre producer asked, "Where are the puppets?' Allynn responded: "The kids are the puppets and the balloons (he always brought ballons with him) are their costumes, sets, and props!" For the next 25 years, he has performed his Goowin's Balloowins thousands of times all over the world.

Weaving the Wild

Annie Hickman creates her nature-inspired costumes using techniques based on basketry. In Weaving The Wild, Annie transforms from one creature to the next... putting on their "skins" and interpreting their movements. She has performed Weaving the Wild on stages around the world.
